After the blessing we went over to my brother's house for lunch. The food was really good and the company was pretty amazing as well!
I need to brag a little bit. When they bought their house a couple years ago, the basement was completely unfinished. He just finished his basement yesterday and it now has two bedrooms, a really nice bathroom (seriously, the tile is amazing), and a room for food storage and other such things. Here's the best part...the only thing he didn't do himself with his own two hands was lay the carpet. Yeah, he rocks! He has also fixed up the yard and built the most gorgeous fence, (including a small fence around his garden...which is a sight to see itself), and a playhouse for the kids. All this in his spare time...you know, when he's not working, collected yet another degree, and raising 5 kids. I'm really proud of him and my sister-in-law. They are a family to behold...let me tell ya.

Two of my girls and I were in that same line of cars waiting for that wreck that Sunday too. In fact, we were saying, "Wow. We're glad that we aren't on a tight schedule and have to be somewhere right now."
