I decided it was time to upload the photos from my camera since it had been awhile. Um, I had photos from the beginning of July on there, no joke. How pathetic. Not only that, but there weren't many photos. I have surely done a lot more cool things in these months than that! For the most part, this...
has taken over my life. It's not a bad thing by any means, but it's all I feel like I have done or thought about since August began. I'm starting to get the hang of things though, and I see a light at the end of the tunnel as far as being able to balance work and everything else. By the way, how handy that I had a picture of my school on my camera. :) Doesn't it look so nice? I love it! Also, I have not had to take one dose of asthma medicine since I left my old school. I have not had one "cold" or anything. Interesting? My parents keep saying how thankful they are that I changed schools for my health if nothing more. My voice is healing too, it's not nearly as scratchy and crackly all the time. It should save bunches of money on medicine and medical bills, that's for sure. That asthma stuff is EXPENSIVE, even with insurance. Sheesh!
Speaking of school, I knew that someday I would have a comfort zone again, and I'm really starting to feel like I do. I am also feeling at home in my new ward. I have met so many awesome people at work and at church and it's nice to have so many new faces and friends! I am grateful for the experiences to learn and grow but I am grateful to feel settled and comfortable again.
So, due to random photos I found, this post will be a bit random, but whatever, it'll be fun.
Let's look at a few photos of some of my nieces and nephews that I found. I am obsessed with how good looking and incredibly amazing they all are.
Don't you just want to take them home? I know! But you can't, they are mine!
My 3rd grade friends from Idaho came to visit me. Here is a great photo of some of them dancing.
See, wasn't that fun?
Okay, so what else has been going on? I have two callings in my ward. I am the ward choir director and the camp director. Notice it's not primary, so I can handle it. :) Aside from work, I am currently working on going through my closet and getting rid of things as well as going through more boxes from storage and either putting them away or getting rid of things. I am looking forward to decorating my cute new house for Christmas. I am hoping to do that in the next couple of weeks so I can enjoy it before I take off to Alabama. I am really looking forward to my Alabama trip too. Is it possible to be homesick for a place that has never been your home? Although, technically, I have a bedroom there. :) I not only miss my family there, but some of my favorite places to go and the culture. Kinda crazy? Maybe, but I can't wait to go!
Okay well, I have rambled on enough for tonight. Stay tuned for something intersting at some point.
