Instead of a bible verse, I'm going to just give my favorite scripture. I figured whoever wrote the list was not aware there are other books of scripture available. :)
"Therefore, dearly beloved brethren, let us cheerfully do all things that lie in our power; and then may we stand still, with the utmost assurance, to see the salvation of God, and for his arm to be revealed."

This scripture has been my favorite since high school. It has become a mantra of sorts for my life. One thing I love about the gospel is that it has given me the knowledge that if I do the best I can, with a good attitude, and exercise faith, God will take care of the rest. This brings a sense of peace in my life that cannot be duplicated.

Love that verse! It reminds me of my new found favorite quote: "Do your duty; do your best. Then leave to the Lord the rest." (David O. McKay) Incidentally, I've always LOVED you for your amazing optimism and great attitude!
OK. So I was reading this post earlier this morning, and I was touched by the scripture you mentioned. It was a very I was not familiar with and I LOVED it! So then later I was working on my own blog and I was looking for a thought for my FOOD FOR THOUGHT post. I typed in "faith" in the search box at lds.org and "randomly" choose the talk "Help Thou My Unbelief" by L. Whitney Clayton. Then I skimmed down, found a quick quote I loved and lo and behold, right under the quote was this very same verse! I felt guided and loved that the Lord knew right where to lead me. I thought you'd enjoy the quote too since it goes hand in hand with your favorite verse:
"When we choose to obey the commandments cheerfully as our first priority, neither murmuring about nor measuring the things He commands, we become the handmaids of the Lord and fishers of men, and cast our nets on the right side of our own ships. We simply go and do the things the Lord commanded, even when we are weary, trusting that He will help us to do exactly as He asks. As we do so, the Lord helps our unbelief, and out faith becomes powerful, vibrant, and unshakeable."

Awww, thanks! I LOVE the quote. Thanks for sharing. I love how we hear just what we need when we need it. I swear that the Gospel Doctrine curriculum has been perfectly scheduled just for me for the past few years. :) It does seem that way sometimes. I am going to go read that talk now...woohoo!
